In 2025, the Republic of Moldova is delighted to welcome you to the 46th World Congress of Vine and Wine, held in Chișinău. With a winemaking heritage stretching back millennia, Moldova has evolved into one of Europe’s most dynamic wine regions. Over the past decade, the industry has transformed through innovation while honoring tradition. From indigenous grape varieties to globally recognized award-winning wines, Moldova now ranks as the 19th largest wine producer, exporting 85% of its wine in 70 countries worldwide.
We look forward to discussing the future of the industry amidst current challenges and sharing our rich heritage, where winemaking is part of our national identity.
