Promoting IT Technologies in the Wine Sector
This year’s OIV Congress, themed “The Path to the Future of Vine and Wine: Embracing Resilience, Increasing Value, Strengthening Innovation” offers a unique opportunity to explore the benefits and challenges of digital transformation in the global wine industry.
This high-level event features Moldova’s finest wines, a four-course dinner, and a wine tasting — all set in an environment that bridges the wine science community with cutting-edge blockchain potential.
The Rise of Digital Twins
Digital Twins—virtual replicas of physical assets updated in real time—are reshaping industries worldwide. By pairing each bottle with its own Twin based on OIV data standards, producers can prove origin and authenticity instantly, agencies can manage inventories nationally, and consumers engage with brands more deeply. The result: fewer counterfeits, smoother exports, and higher revenues through trusted, data-driven storytelling.
What to Expect
- Professional Networking — Connect with distinguished guests from the 46th OIV Congress and the Moldovan and international communities.
- High-Level Knowledge Exchange — Explore the latest in digital transformation technologies for the wine sector and engage in industry panel discussions featuring innovations originating in Moldova.
- Wine Tasting — Enjoy a special tasting session led by Roman Rotarov, an internationally accredited sommelier.
